Christmas. What's not to love.
It’s that time of the season again.
Jingles, and carols, and food, and gifts. These all take it’s place at home.
What’s with christmas besides all the giving? Besides the season of joy and the festive moods?
One thing.
Christ is here
That is Christmas.
We celebrate the coming of the one who is. Our amazing God who loved us at our darkest, is here in our presence. We celebrate His coming, His birth.
You know, even with this to celebrate, Jesus was here the whole year round. He was with you in your sorrow, in your pain, and in your joys and in victories.
He’s persistent, you know that?
He’s already in our hearts yet constantly reminding us that He’s here with us. Most especially when we are distant to Him, He most certainly keeps in touch in mysterious ways.
This advent. This Christmas. He is here. Amidst the gifts and the food, there is love. That Jesus was born, God became man, that eventaually, He would give His life for each and everyone in this world. Including you. And we celebrate this amazing love this season. A season of giving. A season of happiness. That Christ is here. A blessing to the world. The greatest gift we could ever recieve. Jesus, and His great love that we are compelled also to share and give.
Merry Christmas!
